Avignon and Chateauneuf du Pape
Welcome to Avignon, home of the papacy in the 14th century.
Take a tour in my native town and discover its rich architectural heritage (churches, former bishoprics, clock towers). We will walk around the Papal Palace, the largest and the most beautiful house of the Gothic world and as the famous song says, you’ll have the chance to dance on the Old Bridge St Benezet,
For lunch time, I suggest a very unique and casual tasting experience in an indoor market of the town : mouth-watering platters of olives, tapenades, cold cuts, oysters, organic breads and local cheeses will be prepared especially for you in a very Provencal atmosphere.
We will continue heading to Chateauneuf du Pape for some wine sampling and a stop at the castle ruin where you will enjoy an outstanding panorama.

Je vous ferai découvrir ma ville natale ainsi que ses nombreuses richesses architecturales (églises, maisons cardinalices, clochers) Nous contournerons le très vaste Palais des Papes pour aller voir le célèbre Pont St Bénézet.
Pour le déjeûner, je vous propose une expérience gustative unique au coeur d’un marché avignonnais : une farandole de fromages et de charcuteries locales, des olives du pays, tapenades, pains variés et quelques huîtres seront préparés spécialement pour vous dans une ambiance très conviviale
Pour terminer cette journée, je vous propose de choisir entre une découverte des vins de Chateauneuf du Pape ou la visite de l’impressionant Pont du Gard.

Rates start at/ à partir de 350 € up to 6 passengers
Rates include : transportation in air-conditioned vehicle, walking tour in Avignon, parking and tolls.
Rates do not include : brunch cost (around 25€/pers with wines), optional tickets in Papal Palace and St Benezet bridge, and all other personal expenses.
Pick up & return at your vacation residence.
